Actually sounds pretty damn good! However, I am concerned about the message the video is sending out concerning seat belt use, or lack of!

Who would be top five rock of the 60-70s? In no order … not progressive rock, just basic rock

Pink Floyd
Rolling Stones
Cream
Black Sabbath
Led Zeppelin thanks to John Bonham rip
The Who

Didn’t put the Beatles in there because diehards get mad

The Kinks
Savoy Brown
Mott the Hoople

Whether you want to believe it or not....Pink Floyd was/is actually a "prog rock" band.

Deep Purple
The Kinks
Savoy Brown
Mott the Hoople

*Also can't forget Humble Pie w/ the late great Steve Marriott either.

seen the stones twice in concert.i like the stones lps from the late 60s and 70s era more than i do the later ones.last time i saw them was in the 90s when they toured promoting a live album in charlotte,nc.they played mostly older stuff which suited me fine.

Meh...decent enough tune.
I liked it okay back in the day.
Now it's pretty much an afterthought.
I do like some of their other stuff much better.
What I love about that song and makes it eternal, it’s one guitar, 3 voices, great lyrics, and you could add anything to enhance it, light piano, violins, etc. The opposite of rock :) but what a melody.

This is great a great rock classic too.
Back to the point of thread, missed last Stones concert we had tickets to, way back in covid days.

Great CCR:

Last Stones album I bought was Goat's Head Soup. I still think their earlier stuff was better.

If "Angry" is its best cut they shouldn't have bothered. They're my all-time favorite group, but Dirty Work was their last LP I listened to more than a couple of times and Some Girls was their last truly great one of new material.

They are in Vancouver July 5. I missed them in 2020 due to COVID.

I've never seen them live.

Do I make the Haj to see them?

Advance sales on the 29th.

Save your time and your money....don't bother...unless of course they happen to be on your bucket list.

Imho...they just really aren't the same anymore without Bill Wyman & Charlie Watts....or even Mick Taylor & Ian Stewart for that matter.

I suggest checking to see if they're going to live stream the concert....and if so, watch it that way.
Either way...enjoy.
