You also realize that Sanchez took the Jets to the AFC title game - rt? So what. I guess this is a low risk move so shouldn't be too big of a deal. However Allen has a knack for somehow always fucking things up so who knows. And Gruden somehow also finishes rt around .500 so I would not hold my breath on that very high pick in 2020

Well since keenum isn’t sanchez. Its a good thing . Realistically what can get for 3.5 mil that’s better ? At least we can fake trying and focus on drafting a sweat

I will bet anything that Keenum has major clock mgmt. issues in several games next season. Gruden has a knack of developing QBs to always have these issues. Has happened with every Skins QB he has coached

Maybe, but I still think if someone they likes falls to 15 or a trade back for Jones, Arizona ask for our 46 for Rosen, i don't think Keenum keeps them from jumping on any of those scenarios.

Just giving you a hard time. However I will say that I just know that they will hover around 500 regardless - just enough to not make playoffs yet not have a high pick. We will see

Its cheap money for CK. He is a better option than Colt so why are people blaming the FO for this move? 3.5M for a starting average QB is a deal. AM I Wrong?

For those who are hoping for the Rosen trade, the CK move means the Cardinals asking price is to high or maybe the the Cardinals plan on keeping Rosen. Trading for Rosen after obtaining CK and we have McCoy, just doesn't sound right. Could the Skins feel like they will not trade up to pick one of the top QB's in the yrs draft. The CK trade is a cheap move and it tells me that the Skins will address other areas with our 1st rd pick this yr. CK is okay, not my first option but either way unless a serve injury we will set sail with CK at QB for the 2019 season.

I think this is a pretty good deal for a qb who isnt very good, save one season on a very good Vikings team.

Incidentally, CK took the vikings to the championship in his only year as a starter there, while KC choked in his first year there. Just sayin....

Anywhoo, the Redskins needed somebody who could be guaranteed to not completely suck at qb in case CM cant play, and I think we can all agree that CK wont completely suck.

To get an adequate backup qb at below market value via trade without losing draft picks?

I don't hate this move, lots of things could still happen.

1. As mentioned earlier he is a bridge guy and is protection if McCoy gets hurt.
2. Draft a mid round guy you think might have an upside or can back up in the future
3. Wait until 2020 to spend a high draft choice on a QB
4. Rosen is still in play, if they like him
5. Draft a WR, OLB and OL this year - do NOT draft a safety high …. there are 4 or 5 good ones available. Find one you don't have to pay a ton too
