Actually, Wood had pitched well so far, and the Reds have hit lefties... both trends I don't expect to last that long... the good news is, the Cubs are bad. The bad news is, our Reds can get beat by bad teams... ask the Pirates. The Reds need to win as many as possible before a 10 game roadie.
The two players who consistently hurt the Reds -- Castro and Barney -- need to be kept off the bases. This is another game that Leake needs to get straight ... and if the Reds can score early, that might just happen. I am seeing a lot of the same thing as last year -- waiting till the 6th or 7th to get the offense in gear.
Nice to see Reds fans still refuse to go to games. Touch over 18k tonight to see a team that is 10-3 at home. Have to think a good number are Cubs fans too, as always.
