White Sox (10-6)
Rangers (10-6)

No Sale...but White Sox still have the AL's 3rd best ERA coming in @ 2.49...and a BAA of .206.

This one will be tough...especially Sunday's matchup with Latos. (0.49 ERA)

You have to think the real Latos will show up soon...

You forgot to say the white sox line up isn't very good. I wouldn't be surprised to see several really close games like the nail biter against the Astros last series.

You may have a time finding the game. If so try 676-6 FSS. That's Direct TV and have never seen that channel before. Can't find any thing else. If different plz advise

No kidding. Has only given up 6 hits in 18.1 innings. Usually when you go from the NL to the AL there is a drop off. At least for most pitchers not named Hamels.

As bad as he was last year, I expected much of the same. Should come back to earth eventually

Wish they would put the Stars and Mavs on ch 21. Leave the Rangers brodcasts alone.

I'm expecting more of a regression at least to where he was when he was a coveted pitcher

I would hope not unless they really come down on the asking price.

Unhappy with offspeed pitches, Rangers starter Yu Darvish will not begin rehab assignment Tuesday | SportsDay

Still grasping for the feel on his offspeed pitches, right-hander Yu Darvish has pushed back the start of his rehab assignment.

But, Rangers pitching coach Doug Brocail said, it isn't a setback.

Darvish threw secondary pitches for more than half of his 47-pitch live batting practice session Thursday. Afterward, he said he wanted to "sleep on a decision" about whether he would begin a rehab assignment at Double-A Frisco or take another live batting practice session.

"I felt like he was strong," Brocail said. "But I don't think he was as happy with his offspeed as he'd like. He has his fastball, cutter and slider, but I don't think he's sure about the changeup and his curve balls."

The amended plan calls for Darvish to throw a 60-pitch batting practice session on Tuesday, then go to Frisco on May 1. Brocail said the extra batting practice session does not constitute a setback because the Rangers will ramp up the pitch count from 45 to 60. He will then back down to 45 pitches for his first rehab assignment.

The plan does, however, rule out any chance that Darvish would return by May 11 to finish a homestand. The new earliest-possible-date is May 16 at Oakland if Darvish throws 45,60 and 75 pitches in his first three rehab starts.

"Once he gets to five innings and 75 pitches, he could either go to the majors and throw 90 pitches or do that in the minors," Brocail said. "It really does not matter which way he wants to go with [Sunday's session]. This just gives him more chance to repeat his pitches. If he says he's ready to go [after 75 pitches[, then we will let him run. If he needs another start, he can take that, too."

Don't know if I like Elvis in the 2 hole. The bottom of the order look promising. Rua proved again last night why he deserves to be starting again.
Here is what Evan thought about it.

What the heck? Desmond has one good game and he's hitting 5th now. The Rangers must really have high hopes for him.

He's actually been hitting the ball well since he was inserted back into the lineup.

Adrian should be up to 2nd place by the end of 2017.

I read this about 30 minutes ago and earlier in the day I was thinking the way the starting pitching has been we actually at this point in time have the luxury of not rushing him.
