ESPN: Rams are No. 1 in under-25 talent rankings for 2018

The Rams climbed higher (26 spots) in the rankings than any team this year thanks to head coach Sean McVay showing us just how bad of a job Jeff Fisher was doing. We’ve usually had the Rams in the top five for these rankings, but we dropped them to 27th last year after Jared Goff’s horrific rookie season and the struggles of Todd Gurley II. Enter McVay, and the Rams had one of the greatest single-season turnarounds in NFL history.

Rams defense dominates Ravens with interception frenzy

Instead of Goff throwing into the tight windows created by Peters, Talib and the rest of the secondary, it was Joe Flacco and the Ravens’ quarterbacks’ turn. The Rams defense dominated the Ravens in practice on Tuesday to the tune of five interceptions.

“Yeah, we had like five today,” Talib said after practice. “It’s how they come, man. You know how those interceptions – that’s how they come. They come in bunches. So, we got one early and they kept on coming. They kept on rolling.”

They have to make it to the SB for this season to be a success......winning it would be nice but anything less than getting there is total failure after the offseason they had.

The secondary is vastly improved and I think they should if Goff's season wasn't an illusion.

Disagree and I think you are putting too much stock in all those sports writers trying to sell their take on this years Rams. We’ve heard this take, the overrated take and the ‘locker room cancer free agents we bought in this year’ take. So pick your flavor.

IMO, there are still a lot of genuine question marks that still need to be answered, and every season has its own unique set of challenges.

I’d like to think, if our offensive line holds up and gives TGIII the holes, and Goff time, save injury, this years Rams should win the Division. From there I would say I would be disappointed if they didn’t make it to the NFC championship.

But first things first, win the down, win the series, win the quarter win the game each week to win the division and set up a post season run.
