We have a team rep there. He ran an unofficial forty time of 4.41 at 6'5" 232lbs.

Former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor ran his first forty-yard dash in 4.38 seconds and his second in the 4.4s at his Saturday Pro Day.
Pryor ran on FieldTurf, which is considered a legit surface for forty times. The supplemental draft prospect will throw 50-60 passes later in the day, and scouts on hand will want to see improved accuracy. Pryor is regarded to have off-the-charts athleticism (evidenced by his forty), but struggles to throw the ball on a straight line. There are at least 16 teams in attendance.

From Breer:

Pryor completed 27-of-39 throws to moving targets. I counted 4 drops. At the end, Rosenhaus asked if scouts wanted to see any other throws.

One thing I will say: kid throws it 75-80 yards with ease. For what that's worth

Now this is old school: Pryor doing his vertical against cement wall with hand chalked. Colbert instructing lockerz.com/s/131386686

Pryor jumps 31 inches in the old world vertical.

Rosenhaus said Pryor will sign, will not appeal suspension, will play any position asked.

Odds of Niners putting in a competitive bid for him....hopefully 0%.
I just don't see the value in it.

Growing up in Ohio I still watch the Buckeyes from time to time and my first thought of watching him was that if I had a kid in Middle School that threw the ball the way he did I would tell him to find another position because QB is nowhere in his future. Everything about his mechanics are garbage

Not completely true. Some FieldTurf runs much faster than other FieldTurf. I can't speak to the turf that Pryor ran on, but this is a topic that eats at me like crazy.

Honestly when I watched Pryor I didn't see a very strong arm.

I don't see us making a play for him at all. I do see a team like the Raiders or Redskins taking a look at him or perhaps even the Eagles. He will be tried at QB first and if he fails then he'll likely be tried at WR or cut. Thats just my prediction.

I don't think there is a coach in the world that would think like this at that age. Living in Pennsylvania, I remember watching him a few times playing in high school at Jeanette, and, although he was used at receiver a little (because of his height and speed), he definitely stood out at quarterback. Big, quick, shifty kid with a booming arm (especially for a high school kid); he was a man among the boys.
Now, I do agree with you about his mechanics. And he may not make a good NFL quarterback. But given his talents as a duel threat, and how successful they can be throughout JV, high school and college, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't use him at quarterback.

I don't like the idea of drafting Pryor at any position. He won't be a very good WR IMO. He's a long strider with a good 2nd gear, but he doesn't have the agility to make WR cuts IMO. Feet are a little heavy.

I wouldn't want him as a TE either. Don't see any reason why he'd make a good one.

Lot of hubbub for a guy who won't amount to anything in the NFL.

I think Pryor will make an NFL roster. Might even eventually become a decent #2. I just donn't want him on the Niners 'cause they need a #1 guy.

:) Just an illustration to prove how terrible I think his mechanics are.

He's a little better than Tim Tebow. He needs at least 2 years of grooming before he should be allowed to see the field as a QB. He doesn't need to be a WR or TE. The guy is a quarterback. A lousy one who could develop to be a pretty descent starter.

I think if we bulked him up to 300 pound, he would be an awesome LT.

No shocker, two rounds have gone by without a pick made in the supp draft.
