Unless an major injury occurs for another team I don't see us making it. Everything points to us finishing 9th in the West again. OKC has KD and Westbrook back and will start piling the wins up. All the 7 other teams from last year have improved and we seem to be just scrapping by.

Losses vs. Utah, Orlando and Charlotte can't happen if we expect to make it.

Exactly what he said. I don't mind losing to a healthy Toronto but those other three really hurt. 45 wins is likely our cap.

Unfortunately, a ninth-place finish—like last year—seems most likely. Eighth is not out of the question, but then, neither is slightly lower than ninth.

The good news is that there is still a little upside as the new players (namely Thomas) and the new rotations continue to gel with the old.
