Sloppy game by both teams early but WVU works the kinks out first and gets ahead. Bama makes a great late run but WVU hits a long FG for the win.

I expect a closer result than what most people, even Bama fans expect. A lot of people will look at the score and judge this Alabama team without ever watching the game. This game will only be winnable by WVU if they get kick returns and turnovers for TDs. But even without that I still suspect a closer than expected game. On offense I think Bama will struggle to move the ball and gain rhythm. They will use 2 QBs allowing them to play most likely 2 series then switch. This will break up the passing flow. Plus the supposed better passing of the 2 is a transfer who just came in weeks ago and has very little time to get to play with the new WRs as well as practice the plays. He will play at a slower speed thinking through the game instead of acting on instinct.

We will probably run the ball a lot due to this. But WVU knows this so they will stack the box. The oline is full of raw talent but how they will play together out of the gate is yet to be seen. Perhaps like the QBs maybe they will need a few games until they begin to work together properly. I expect Bama to win one of those close games that are closer in the score box but if you had watched the game you would have never felt like they were really going to lose. Much like the Penn St game in 2011.

If/when ya guys win. I honestly think it'll be your ground and pound offense that gets the job done. Mix of Henry and yeldon that will wear our D down. Plus we are going back to the 3-3-5 we used to run. I think that'll work well in the B12 but not so sure against a team like bama. We shall see. I really hope it's not a blowout.

And I have no idea how Alabama is going to play in the 1st game. I would generally have to say we are going to win, but I was around for UCLA in 2000 so I pretty much always stay nervous until it's over.

Even more recently we should have beat Auburn last year, and didn't. We should have beat Oklahoma last year and didn't. If Alabama plays at 100% I think we win. Otherwise, I have no clue.

North Texas was actually a decent team last year, but they've lost some of their best performers. Not really sure what to expect, just making my best guess like everyone else.

D plays pretty well but the #2s give up an early 4th quarter TD. Offense produces good numbers but continually stubs its toes causing all to realize they need to cut down on mistakes. Jeez, that sounds familiar.
