NO. We are a sovereign country and you saboteurs are outlaws doing your damnedest to destroy it.
Looks like Chicago wants a second helping. Have at it, Rahm. Something tells me in a few months you will be singing a different tune.

ankle bracelet.

That might ensure that he shows up for his immigration hearing. But it wont, or atleast shouldnt prevent him from moving back to Texas and staying with his cousin George until his immigration hearing. Unless of course he is ordered to be on city arrest and not allowed to leave the sanctuary city that he was dumped in. Which I dont have to remind you would kinda look like what it is, Trumps attempt to punish those who resist him... like a good little strongman would.

Or it could look like we are ensuring that we know where all of our "illegal visitors" are until we can determine what do with them. How is this not an acceptable moderated solution to both sides? We let them in the country. We will have to house them and feed them, and keep them safe (Trump won't, but somebody is going to have to do it). Are we treating them like criminals? Yes. They are. Until determine otherwise. They are in this country illegally. But it also gives those that are screaming for open borders a real chance to show those of us skeptical how it would actually work. So why is this not a good thing?

If these loud mouth politicians don't like our immigration laws, change them. Otherwise, stop bitching about the enforcement of the laws that you are responsible for tending to and do SOMETHING. But that would require work, and effort, and putting yourself out there for scrutiny. Its just much easier (especially during election time which now never ends) to point to the other guy and blame it all on him.

The thing is, its not a CRIME to request asylum. In fact its the law that gives these people the right to request asylum. Thus the only crime they have committed is trying to come to America when a portion of Americans dont want them here at all.

Case in point: your comments about Cher’s tweet.

Aren’t you beating the “America First” drum with the rest of the ignorant republican lemmings on this thread?

Should LA NOT take care of its citizens?

You must be confused. Again.

Maybe another pointless attack on Omer or American Patriot, AOC is in order.

Please educate me on Christ and his teachings. I am truly interested.

Happy to help.

First, a question:

Are you planning on continuing to be selective with regards to which of his teachings you are going to follow, like most republicans, or are you willing to admit that you actually arent christian at all, and like to use “faith” to back up your false equivalencies?

… is "ignorant Republicans" anything like deplorables?

You have to appreciate the really smart people who are going to abolish air flight and keep cows from farting. :pound:But what the hell, at least you can spell ignorant. :suds:

Oh oh..I'll take this one.

One does not have to be ignorant to be deplorable. If one marches with a Nazi and/or Confed flag.. well then one is likely both ignorant and deplorable.

If one has a college degree, and works in the white house. But the main focus of ones thoughts on the phrase white house, centers around the word white. One might not be ignorant, but deplorable just the same.

Just because someone grew up in a poorly educated area, and happens to be ignorant of reality and republican, does not guarantee that one is deplorable.

There are levels man. But yes occasionally, and actually with more frequency, one can be both. :thumb:

Why shouldn’t it prevent them from moving with George? They do not have a right to roam freely around the US while being in the country.

Actually, aren’t sanctuary cities trying to be a strongman by going against federal immigration law? Look, this is what sanctuary cities want. They want people in the country illegally to have a place to go while being in the country illegally. Now, the truth is want illegals in the country but they don’t want them personally.

No it isn’t, I agree. It also is not a crime to reject them and keep them outside our sovereign borders while they are processed.

International law can kiss my ass.

Actually, the crime they have committed is crossing the border illegally.

US and international law states that you must be in the country you are requesting asylum from in order to actually request asylum.

If one crosses into the country, and requests asylum they have not broken any laws, but followed the legal procedure.

Show me where I am selective.

I will explain anything you like regarding religion.

Black people march with the Confederate flag. It doesn’t mean what you want it to mean.

The word white is descriptive.

Trump and many other politicians (Democrat/Republicans) have completely fail to address the underlying causes of the problem of this massive immigration problem present in America today. The root cause of the problem is the government and the politicians (Dems/Repub's) and they pretend that they don’t see it. As a matter of fact they are facilitating this steady inflow of illegals. It's on both sides not just one.The illegal maximization of profits by U.S. corporations. Donald Trump and other politicians, don’t talk about the need for these companies to adhere to the immigration laws. Why Trump is hiring illegals. No more of the slap on the wrist. All should be prosecuted to the fullest.

Really employers have three basic ways to make more profits at the expense of their employees. 1) move out of the US to places where wages are much lower. 2) If you can’t go overseas, bring the illegals here. However in the long run big companies have the trump card, it’s call automation which will get rid of the jobs altogether. Screw you the American worker and the illegal immigrants. It’s a system that's broken, a system that has all these alternative ways for companies to stick it to the US workers and immigrants.

Yes. You are no longer in need of asylum if you are Venezuelan in Mexico. Under US law, you may request asylum for past persecution or a well-founded fear of being persecuted in the future “on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.” Congress incorporated this definition into U.S. immigration law in the Refugee Act of 1980. These conditions are based on,persecution of your government. Now, show me which countries in Sout and Central America persecuting these people under these circumstance.

Actually, if they cross into the country in non-ports of entry, they are illegally crossing the border.

You request asylum in a place where you feel you will actually be SAFE. Maybe they dont feel they will be safe in one of the other Latin America or central America countries any more than they felt safe in their original country.

You also have a PResident telling CBP to deny people even the ability to request asylum at the ports of entry. So while there was a problem already, Captain Wall has exacerbated the problem.. intentionally.
