This week, NASCAR heads to Pocono. The tricky triangle. The main problem with heading up to PA. is the weather. Let's just hope for the best.

Thank God they cut the Pocono races to 400 miles. It can be a pretty boring race after a while

I agree. Pocono is one of my least favorite racetracks to watch, it's usually a snooze fest.

I'm looking forward to Michigan and Sonoma.

I like Pocono. But then again, I also love road courses. And most people hate them. And Pocono has road course qualities to it. The three different angles to the corners. And the different legnths of straighaways. It's enough to give driver and crewchief head aches.

I love road courses and I believe Kurt Busch could get a top 5 finish this week. Pocono is one his better tracks and he's overdue for a good, clean race.

I read somewhere that they also changed the degree of banking this year on the tunnel turn, Turn Two. So instead of that flat curve I think they bumped it up to 12 degrees of banking from the orignal 8 degrees. Should be a little different because now the drivers don't have to slow as much coming off the backstretch.

Last year the Pocono races were pretty good as a 400 miles race

Yea I agree BKSBaller. That 500 miler was a pain in the ass literally and I have been to that track and have sat in the stands forever watching that race. Your ass literally gets tired to the point of pain. I have also had to run for cover when the clouds open up because sitting there in the rain during a delay is absolutely nuts and some of those PA whack job fans get liquored up and just sit there getting soaked!!

I went to Pocono once, never again. Dover on the other hand was an exciting race to watch live in person.

Sadly that's the only two tracks I've been too.

I have been to Pocono, Phoenix, and LA. Other than that nothing. My bucket list includes Daytona, Talledega, and Indianapolis. Whether that ever happens remains to be witnessed.

I think a combo of the new car and the miles cut helped the Pocono races out. But before that, it was easily the worst fucking race to ever exist. 500 miles of nothing but 9 second gaps separating EVERY SINGLE CAR.

Officially Kasey Kahne's worst season ever for him since hes debut in 2004

maybe its time to leave that team. Honestly, though he had his best season points finish ( 2 years ago) with Hendrick, frankly he was better before and winning more races when he was with Evernham/RPM..........period

should have never left. The grass isn't always greener
