Playoffs - who do you want, who do you not want?

right now, we have a roughly equal chance of Phoenix, Dallas, LA, or San Jose.

tough question - if (make that a big IF) we play our game, we should clear though any of them in 5 or 6.
everyone (including us) seems to be fizzling down the stretch. none of the teams mentioned have more than 6 wins in their last 10

Dallas can be very frustrating to play against, and Ott could do some damage with 10 hits a game.
LA and SJ both have a score to settle, as we knocked them out recently
Phoenix we sometimes have trouble with, for whatever reason.

I don't think the Avs are going to make it. I'd hope for the Kings because they have a serious problem scoring goals. Dallas would be the team to stay away from. Ribeiro, Benn, Ryder, Ott & of course Lehtonen can stand on his head.

need a team that will keep the canucks engaged. other than the Finals the 1st round to me is the most important round. You can't have too soft a sweep or you won't be engaged for the second round.

if we swept chicago last year I think we would not have had the run we had.

I would like the Kings or San jose but it would most likely be Phoenix or colorado.
