Hunter-Reay is blistering the first practice followed by Pagenaud and Dixon. RHR likes this track and does very well here. We shall see as the season winds down.
As I am in the middle of working eleven strait evenings, I didn't get to watch the race.
Congrats to Dixon. If he had started anywhere near the sharp end of the grid, I probably would have picked him to make the podium but I figured that, by starting at the back, he really didn't have a shot.
We both get 3 points for correctly picking Bourdais the finish 2nd.
Pretty crazy race with people spinning all over the place. Kanaan got into it on the first lap that took him out when he bumped Newgarden and then got ran over by Marco Andretti. Hunter-Reay was making a play for second when he spun out just over-driving the car. That is when Dixon made his move about the middle of the race. Newgarden ran over an air hose in the pits and got a penalty from which he never recovered. Just crazy stuff all day.
No worries on the tally, Indy. Whenever. I realize everyone is busy these days. You'll get to it when you get to it. I usually have the initial posting on Friday. So no worries.
