Why is it that when we play sub-teams we trot out the dildoes? Lost first place over this crap!!

It's kind of funny, actually, been going on for years. I remember years ago, possibly in the days of Dom Brown, on the ESPN boards when the Phils had a shot at making a run, and I was hopped up about the trip to the Astrodome for four games where three or four 5.50 rookies were scheduled to start for the Astros. Predicting a sweep, I was reminded by @westcoast or someone about the previous problems we had with the stros and the size of the dome. Phils were unable to do much scoring and proceeded to lose 3 of the four. Phils seem to be a confidence builder for dumb rookie starters.

So, why is young Tommy Luchesse's grandson shutting the Phils out? Just because he acquired his pitching skills while tossing stillettos in the Bronx protection rackets doesn't mean Phils should fear hitting this kid hard. Afterall, Little Joey Merlino is a Phils fan.
