Are you saying that if Maybin had played the entire season, his .600 batting average would put Detroit in first place? Also, I admittedly have not followed you guys as much as I like to with how busy I've been, but Miggy has appeared fine since the start of May. He's had 11 individual games with a wRC+ over 150 since May 2ndThey're pitching is God awful.
Absolutely atrocious. Pathetic. Embarrassing. It's bad.
Also have four guys on the roster hitting below .200. And another(who hasn't played in this series) who leads the league in Ks.
Miggy wasn't on fire until a week ago, that didn't help. And Anthony Gose was starting in center (hitting something like .205, with bad base running and worse defense.) while Maybin and his nearly .600 average had spent the season on the DL, until last week. Until Wednesday or so, the best hitter in the lineup all year had been hitting seventh nearly every game. (Nicky C.)
VMart can't play a position to save his life, and there had been a few interleague series on the road.
I'll be happy if they somehow win 85 games tbh.
@WestCoastPhan the Twins are the only reason Detroit isn't under .500 and in last.
