Doob's take
Pens have had good success against the Hurricanes, but this time they will be going into Raleigh with half an AHL roster. I have faith in our AHL guys but I expect a tough challenge. Pens & Canes should have a good defensive battle, but in the end I expect the Pens to prevail by a score of 3-2.

Not sure your D pairings are on point Doob. Engo is able to return tonight and was skating with Orpik as the "first" pair (not sure what blackmail that man has on Blysma to warrant being on the first pair, even with the injuries). So it may be Orpik-Engo, Niksy-Maatta, Despres-Bortuzzo. Also, Justin Peters is in goal for the Canes. Pretty sure Cam Ward has been, and still is, on the IR? I could be wrong there, but I'm pretty sure he had a lengthy injury awhile back.

You might be right, I was just posting based on DailyFaceoff's projected lineups.

Another amendment: Dupuis is likely out. The morning skate lines were this:
Kunitz-Crosby-Vitale, Zolnierczyk-Sutter-Kobasew, Conner-Jokinen-Neal, Glass-Sill--Adams

Hope you don't mind my expressing a pet peeve here.

There's no such thing as "bad success" so please, in future, say "considerable" rather than "good" in this type of
context.

GO CAROLINA!

I should've said a good amount of success. Is that better?

Tanner Glass and Brooks Orpik in, Dupuis out. So the injury carousal continues.

I like putting Vitale on the Crosby - Kunitz line. Adds an element of speed which I think they need.

Actually he is back from IR but was playing poorly so Peters has been starting of recent games and Peters will start again tonight.

Good game Canes, but at the end of the game Pens just put them on ice...

Hah...probably better off just rooting for the Pens to beat all the other Metro teams in regulation...as hard as that likely is :)
