Is almost here!!!

I love this teams depth aside from the goaltending, but it still has potential to be solid if injuries to bother backstrom/keumper.

Love that Dumba and Folin are going to play. Dumba gives us more offense from the position which is huge. A little surprising they are paired together but still good.

Also surprised to see Cooke up on the second line instead of Nino but that is temporary til Fontaine is ready(which may even be Thursday).

All 4 lines will be really solid with some very nice talent on that 4th line. As much shit as Brodziak gets, hes a great 4th liner. Just wish he wasn't a 3 mil 4th liner lol.

I'm not trying to take anything away from the Wild's playoff victory against the Avs last season, but I felt that the turning point in the series was when Matt Cooke took out Tyson Barrie's knee. Based on Patrick Roy's post series comments, I think the Avs feel the same way. I could see some bad blood in these games. Probably sets the stage for a good Central Division rivalry for the next few seasons. Should be a good one or two.

Meh, they can think what they want. The Wild were the far better team in that series, the Avs like most of the season got some fantastic goaltending and it was a great series. Game 5 was also a joke the way the game was practically handed to the Avs.

Kuemper to be the netminder tonight. Let's take these first two and send a message to the Avs!

Wow, great game Wild fans, arguably the most impressive performance by any team so far this season. (this or the Sharks last night). Quite a statement made tonight.

I don't think there is anything I can complain about with that game. Maybe no scoring on the power play but they moved the puck well and pretty much owned that game. Good start to the year

Didn't see the game, but saw the highlights. Wild got some good shots off rebounds, and were all over the net for every goal. Really got in Varlamov's head. I wonder if that's carry over from last season's playoffs.

It was quite the one sided game as you can see by the shots on goal. I think it ended 48-16

lol ya it's been a nice start but after last year, I will be refraining from getting excited about the Sharks for a while. Wild on the other hand got me pumped.

Another convincing win by the Wild over the Avs. Either the Wild have really improved, the Avs have really fallen off, or a little bit of both. 8-0 in 2 games, impressive :suds:

Back-to-back 2-1 losses... At least it's early. Goaltending and defense has been superb (yeah, Backstrom only faced 16 shots - credit the defense), but they're 0-16 on PP so far.... that's got to change.

Yeah, they outplayed the Kings, Quick was just Quick, no shame in that loss IMO.
