Okay. But in the record books, they still weren't bowl eligible. Stop trying to make things happen! lol
If the point of making note of a streak of being bowl eligible is to point out consistency, they deserve a mention. 29 years in a row of being no worse than 6-6 is impressive.

I will stop trying to make things happen :pout:

They do not deserve a mention because they were not bowl eligible in 2012.

And had you not cheated, used ineligible players, then lied about it; your streak would be intact.
Those darn tattoos were too much of a competitive advantage to ignore

we should have stuck to fake classes like unc

Nailed it.

Yeah, because tattoos are why you got penalized. Just stop it and face the facts. The University fucked up and caused their football team a possible National Title. Ohio State wasn't bowl eligible in 2012 and that's that.

Never said it was a competitive advantage. Doesn’t change the fact that the program knowingly used ineligible players and then lied about it. Had Tressel just reported the violations, sat the players for 3-5 games, there never would have been a bowl ban. It is no different than paying players with hundred dollar handshakes after a good game. Again, had your program not lied about it and handled things the proper way, your bowl streak would still be intact.

I wonder how complicit the NCAA is in this "oversight". They make the rules and you'd believe they want to enforce them...unless of course it will cost them $$$... typical for an organization that's trying to be fair to amateur athletes.. what a joke they are

They were relevant from 2007-2010. 3 conference championships out

I dont give a shit about bowl streaks to be honest. I don't blame Jim Tressell for protecting his players. He got caught and payed the consequences. Just funny how inconsistent the NCAA is.
