The funny thing is he had back-to-back seasons of 17 goals and 14 goals for the Flames and while that's not spectacular, it's certainly a regular spot on a 3rd line for most teams. He just seemed to fall apart after that though.

If arguing with the refs and refusing to leave the bench nets a coach two games and $50k fine, how come more coaches don’t pull a Ftorek? That’s only a one game suspension.

In my opinion, it would be better if we had a 3-2-1-0 point system and a team trying to catch another team for a playoff spot would pull the goalie in regulation trying to get 3 points.
