Yeah the bats FINALLY came up clutch. This is a stretch where they need to win pretty much every game imo. 2 more against PIT then 3 against the Tigs.

Indians do really well against trashy teams because their pitching is so good. So if the bats get some clutch knocks they avoid most all upsets.

You guys will be in the race the whole 60 with the trashy schedules we both play.

Rogers can't be closer. Give job to Duffy

Think it'll be more Romo. Rogers still getting chances in good match ups.

I think we like having Duffey available to use whenever. Hes been absolute dynamite for a while now that he's kinda become the guy to get us to the 9th whenever we need him.

Yep but it really doesn't mattter bc they can't beat playoff teams or the best teams...you need to do that with a balance but it comes down to hitting and big bats. Even with the entire roster healthy they don't have the bats to contend. In previous years, it's what put a fork in them and they had more power in those years as well. Even when they were one game away from winning the WS they were on a major hot streak and the BP was electric.

Yeah its obviously a Twins issue too and I think part of it is we don't get enough experience playing good teams. At least we both got 10 vs the Sox this year who are definitely improved but even they don't have a true playoff rotation.

They need more than 1 bat to come alive at the same time. I would favor a trade of Clevinger for a bat.

Yeah I think you guys def need to trade an arm for a bat. You've got so many pitchers you can afford it. Keeping Bieber obviously.

Yeah if they could turn Clevinger over for a young player...they are so good at scouting pitchers but they need a Soto/Tatis type of all-around young bat.

Bieber, Civale and Plesac (if he can start using his brain) is enough to hold the rotation down for the next 4-5 years. Add in a veteran like Carrasco and they will be fine. Hitting has been and will be the issue...only way to do that is with young players bc Dolan is cheap SOB

Santana does it again.

Indians in another classic pitchers duel and Pirates pull the starter. Boom.

It was a shitshow until another 3-run dinger by Carlos

I wish the Twins could hit 3 run homers. Or score more than 4 runs.

We now have the worst offense in baseball. Brett Anderson laughing in our face.

Him im not entirely sure of long term in terms of how good he will be.

Don't get me wrong I'd take him on the Twins. But I wouldn't sell big on him.
