Him im not entirely sure of long term in terms of how good he will be.

Don't get me wrong I'd take him on the Twins. But I wouldn't sell big on him.

Yeah he doesn't have close to the potential of the others like Bieber, Plesac or even Clevinger...but more than I expected.

Indians' Triston McKenzie To Debut Saturday

Been waiting for this kid. If he balls then maybe they do indeed trade Clev or Plesac. This kid's had injuries issues though.

He's 6'5" 165

The Indians have a .201 batting average which is 9 points lower than the 4 WIN Pirates..9 points. 25th in HR's and RBI's, 30th in SLG, 29th in OPS.

And they are a 1.5 GB from having the best record in the AL. I couldn't be any happier...I mean their hitting can only get better, right? Probably not, it will probably stay the same LOL

I'm still trying to figure out where you guys keep finding these starter gems. Good grief, they've traded or let walk two AS calibur pithers, recently demoted two other starters for covid violations, and yet it's tho they haven't missed a beat with their rotation. Simply amazing.

I'm wondering the same thing.

Bieber and Clev were 4th round guys. Plesac was a 12th rounder. Civale a 3rd round guy.
I think they are just great at scouting pitchers AND most importantly developing them...I mean when Bieber came up he only had basically a fastball and it seemed like he added 3 more pitches to his repertoire...all electric stuff.

Oh hell yeah, pissed off to the max at how good their scouting is in spotting good pitchers. But at the same time I have to take my hat off to them. They simply know how to find those gems. I'll say in here what I said in the White Sox forum. If we had their rotation, coupled with our pen and our hitters, we'd be challenging for the best record in the majors.

Twins are finding ways to simply survive. Can't hit, literally can't field a full starting rotation. Half the lineup is hurt. Finally gained ground today in the division.

Have to just pray we can win 1 in Cleveland. Tuesday vs Bieber is a auto loss.

I was hopeful the Tribe would keep the winning streak going, but it had to end at some point. I definately didn't expect them to lose the series, though.
