I'm a fan of the Boys, although that fandom has severely waned in recent years as I find myself vehemently disagreeing with the decisions of the franchise more and more frequently and really just learning to dislike Jerry Jones as a human being.

With that said, I really think the NFC East is wide open once again this year. Cowboys could win the division or finish 5-11 and neither would surprise me. I hate the switch to the 4-3 and I'm not crazy about a what 73 year old? calling the shots on D.

Many of the Cowboy fans follow then not because they are from Dallas, but because they like the Cowboy image "America's Team" and all that.

I'll be honest, I fell in love with them because Aikman and Emmit were doing their thing when I was a wee lad. I wasn't raised to root for any team so I latched onto the guys with the great unis that were kicking ass. If there was ever a sport that made following an out of market team doable it's football. One game a week, the Cowboys play the Giants twice, constantly on prime time and are the automatic "other game" in my market if the game doesn't conflict with the Giants game.

Wow FWD, did you really just say that? I would bet that if ESPN did a "troll" poll on who was the "biggest troll ever" on the ESPN football forums...you would win going away.
