The Lightning , the top team in the East just trounced the top team in the West and in the latest power rankings are ranked 14th in the league. As Rodney would say " We don't get no respect".
I'll bet ESPN did the power ranking. It seems like something ESPN would do as a result of the Stamkos injury. They perceive hockey like it's basketball and think that the fall of a superstar means the fall of the entire team like it's the NBA.
People who go to ESPN for any type of Hockey news aren't very smart
I don't go to ESPN for anything anymore to tell you the truth. It's really just a hype machine.

They talk about the same 2 or 3 teams/players from every sport, it's awful - I stick to the league channels for every sport(MLBN, NHLN, NFLN, NBA TV) - they're much better

yea, what does espn know about hockey? Not a heck of a lot being they still employ Barry Mellonhead! To think Mellonhead was benching Stammers tells me he don't know hockey!!!! Dumb azz move for a wanna be coach!
I had high hopes for Mike Smith when he came to the Lightning, and he almost put himself out of hockey. Then he went to Phoenix and became a world beater . Figure ???
