Padres are now 11 games below their pythag W-L. 6-22 in one run games. Not sure what the "unluckiest" team of all-time is, but the 2006 Indians and 2014 A's were also -11.

They’re paying penance for this shit. I heard Richard Simmons watched this and immediately said, “That shit is gay as fuck!”

I gotta say, have nothing against either of them and actually really love watching Soto

But the stupid ass hop skip whatever the fuck you call it Soto and Tatis do at 3B on homers, coupled with their even dumber home plate dances together with Machado coming in for some goofy hand shake. Ridiculous.

Even before you factor in the fact its one of the most disappointing teams in baseball that is like 10 games under .500. How about win 1 run games and stop dancing like weirdos down 7

Is anyone surprised by this though. Seemed like you could pencil them in at the beginning of the year

Ad a dodger fan, yes, I am.
I thought the Padres would win it.

Once LA arms started dropping like flies, I thought either Zona or SD would take the division. LA cut payroll and called up numerous minor-league pitchers to stabilize the pitching staff.

Not sure they make it far in the post season though. Friedman builds excellent regular season teams but poor post season ones.

You can’t talk like that if your a fan. You gotta think there gonna make it far. Like I’m a Yankees fan I knew they stunk but I still believed they would make the playoffs

Well, we are different types of fans right?

I am a realist and I know that LA is probably going to start 3 rookies in a playoff rotation. Not sure that has ever happened in MLB history. I will cheer for the team of course but I am also realistic and not a homer.

It’s fitting that the Rockies first ever 100 loss season comes on their 30th anniversary, that pretty much sums up the state of the franchise more than words ever could.

it's rough man. Might not be possible to compete with the unique nature of playing there

For the life of me, I don’t understand why they don’t instal artificial gravity generators at Coors Field to help normalize that park.

Wonder what that means in regards to their outfield. Betts' bat would easily make him one of the best 2nd basemen in the league even before considering defense, and he looked good there this year. A ~140 OPS+ from 2B is very valuable.

Damn, the Giants are making some noise. If they fail, you certainly can't blame management this year
