NHL General Posters You DON'T Want to See Here

I know there is a thread for posters to invite. But people might not be around when a suggestion is made or might not be checking in to vote. So, I just thought I'd start this to give people a chance to cross reference when they make a suggestion.

Obviously guys like Mad Dog, Dup, and Trollerblades aren't welcome. But maybe people can provide some less obvious ones. You might think someone is okay but not know they troll another team's board you don't check out, for example.

My no invite list...

Pens - Element1286, SupahMario66, PenVolution
Caps - ac4terps, AngryerRaven, CapsZGain

I know those two fan bases well. If any of them get invited and see this, prove me wrong.

I'm a little odd when it comes to fellow pro sports team fans... I don't always get along w/ Pittsburgh fans, even here in Steeltown. Hell, I don't even get along w/ many PSU fans.

That's a nice troll of the year list you got there. Since the NHL awards are coming out, I've bolded the guys I think should get the final nod.

I can see where you're coming from on element, because he's a little bit pretentious, but he really knows his stuff and is awesome at support his claims about talent evaluation. For what it's worth, he's my favorite person to talk to on the Pirates' message board, becuase he supports everything with articles, stats, and links. He's actually a big part of why I'm so into stats and why I know so much about them.

Unfortunately, he comes on strong on the NHL board, and I have no problem with not inviting him, but I can tell you decidedly that he's one of the absolute best baseball posters on ****, and that if you get him away from guys like Dup, TheCommonSense, and other antagonizing trolls, he'd probably be an alright poster.

to add to darkstone's post, I've witnessed him be just as knowledgeable and level-headed on the Steelers board as well. Perhaps his hockey knowledge isn't as thorough and he sometimes compensates with arrogance?

I have tried to hve some good conversation on the Pens board. Living in Pitt and all, I know a ton about the team. These guys would just flood the posts with their "Mark Madden" banter and CS fluid literally would leak out of my ears when I read the posts.
