Miles said in his presser he's kind of disappointed in the student section. They failed to 'slow motion' storm the court and they're not being NCAA leaders and need to focus and improve. He says just like the team, they lack a little discipline.

I can promise you one thing......when I was working games at the Devaney, we never stormed the cort once.

That's because we literally didn't beat anyone. While I loved sitting right on the floor next to the team, watching us get blown out every game got old.

We are heading upward now. Soon enough there will be teams storming the court when they beat us.

I just want to see that big win the other night boost these players' confidence. Guys like Petteway and Shields should have big games tonight if it did.

A win tonight would mean a lot as it would really put us in position to go on a run. A loss tonight would hurt bad. This is a huge game as it's a turning point for this young talented team. Tonight could determine how the rest of the season goes. It's one thing to get 1 win......it's another to start getting consecutive wins. That's when you become post-season worthy.

Yeah Penn St is bad, but this game is really big for this team.

It's literally a must if Nebrasketball is going to get to the next level as hoped.
A win would be meaningless nationally to others but valued greatly here.

It's these kind of games in the past where the Huskers need it, but would find a way to play down to the opponent's level and RIP YOUR FUCKING HEART OUT.

It all comes down to how well we defend Tim Frazier.

He will be the best guard we face this season and can go off for 30 points and 10 assists whenever he feels like it.

Penn State is 0-6 in Conference play, but they could have won a lot of those.

We got @ PSU tonight then home for Minny (Sunday) and Indiana (next Thursday). REALLY could use a couple three wins here.

Ken Pomeroy is the most accurate College Basketball analyst every year and he has Nebraska finishing 7-11........but he has them losing tonight.

That kinda puts into perspective how important this game is. We need to steal the games that we can steal to push us over the edge.

I don't see a win against Penn St as a "steal" even if it is on the road.. Steals are home or away wins against upper echelon Big 10 teams. A win nobody expects you to get. Ohio St was a steal.
Penn St is dead last in the conference, was dead last in the 2012/2013 season and the season before. Getting beat by them is not getting to the next level.

It's a game to try to get some momentum going after the Ohio St win. To get to the next level. If NU loses tonight the Ohio St 'steal' was basically meaningless and for not.
