The older I get the more I don’t mind how stupid and implausible action movies are. No one wants to see an action movie that just mirrors real life.

Same. It's why I also like the Fast and Furious movies.

Those kinds of movies are like Jack In The Box tacos.

Otherwise, the movies would have a pretty short plot. Disaster happens, everyone dies.

You get pretty exaggerated results (at both ends). Guys either die instantly from getting shot (or knocked out from a punch) or they take all the punishment and keep coming.

2 pretty good actors from that movie died at pretty young ages. Bill Paxton and Philip Seymour Hoffman. I thought Hoffman was good in most things I saw him in, guess he flipped out.

Well yeah, the bad guys get knocked out with one punch from the female lead. The good guys get shot in the leg and just limp a little after they self apply a tourniquet made from a ripped tshirt

My favorite is how the good guy sneaks up behind a guard/henchman and silently snaps their neck and kills them just yank twisting their head quickly.
