Actually, the Lakers defended the 3 better against the Warriors than they did the Nuggets. The Warriors shot 35% from 3.

While the Warriors did hit a lot more 3's than the Lakers, they literally had no size and no way to stop the Lakers without fouling. The Nuggets at least have some size to slow the Lakers attacking the paint.

well missed shots doesnt always means some great close out defense. I remember it being alot of open shots or at worst minimally contested shots that they just missed. Denver is 21st in the league in free throws by opposing teams. that doesnt suggest to me that they are great defensively without fouling.

That makes me feel better about my opinion this year bc I really liked Daniels. Didn’t think much about the others. And I mean everyone not named Caleb but I would be most curious on what he has on Caleb. Sounds like in the pretty good range
