I won't be surprised if the semis turn into a home field game. Fans can't afford two playoff games/trips

Home field would be great. Reward the top seeds.
But the Bowl games would never ever do that and lose the money.

I fear the worst case scenario might happen instead.
Corporate America will buy up all the NCG tickets and it will be sterile environment like the Super Bowl with a zillion ridiculously sponsored side show stuff devaluing it.

The semi-finals will always still resemble the collegiate feel that makes the sport great hopefully.

The playoffs are great so far, but the low ticket sales is one decidedly troublesome side effec

Apparently the lowest ticket prices in several years....

The prices are plummeting as the demand for seats is not even close to years past.

Interesting.

Maybe, the faithful followers don't have enough cash to buy 2 game tickets and big travel costs?

That would make the most sense.

Looks like the cheapest are around $400 on stubhub. I sure can't swing that. Let alone the cost to get there and stay somewhere.

Well, he brought you Heisman. OSU will be the National Champs after this game is settled.

Don't get cocky, let Bucky remind you that your team (while good) is still beatable....

right. It never ceases to amaze me the people I see sitting in the stands at these games. Really? you could afford those front row tickets? :L I swear there must be subsidized game tickets, or quite a few mommies and daddies ponied up for $500 - 1000 tickets for jr. to go, (hard time believing there are that many would do this)

I could go, but I just have too many other things more important that I need to spend those few thousand dollars on.....

I agree I think that's the major factor in attendance in mist sports. The economy and people that buy blocks if tickets to make money doesn't help

That is the truth.

Scalpers used to be bad enough. These people who scaff up tickets online in blocks jack the price up to unreasonable prices to make a profit are a disgrace. It's one off the mist disgusting trends that's started occurring in recent years. It's the fans that suffer

Perhaps the scalper that holds on to long ends up biting the tip of the weeny here. Capitalism at it's finest.

I'd rather watch the game at home anyways.
