Also Assault on Precinct 13 is the only movie I have ever seen when it was a White Dude and a Black Dude as the stars with Not One Mention of Race (In a movie which the plot was Racial Gangs....)

Sequels can be bad or the series as a whole can be weaker than one of the films.
The problem with The Matrix is that taken as a series it is horrible and the very fact the sequels exists ruin the first movie. It's the retcon that ruins it all.

Agreed. Through the whole second movie, all I could think was how seriously downgraded Neo's powers had become. The Matrix should have been a stand alone movie.

Don't know that I can say evil dead 2 was a bad sequel .Yes evil dead one was better but two spawned ash from the whiny character he portrayed in the first ED to the chainsaw weilding mad man with a boomstick everyone began to love Evil dead is a top trilogy in my book
