Heat to honor Alonzo Mourning at Wednesday’s game for his induction into the Hall of Fame.

Per Ira Winderman

Good game to go to and shed some tears

In 8 minutes of action, McBob had 3 points/4 rebounds & UD with 6 points in 5 minutes

Not bad

I expect similar numbers from Granger when he is ready and should he get a decent amount of minutes to get involved.

Lead down to 10 with a series of lazy defensive sequences

Some games like this one, it is just best to bench Mario Chalmers as he can just make turnover after turnover and bad foul to let another team get in the game.

A couple key stats the Heat are down in - Second chance points and offensive boards , yet they have a comfortable lead. This would not be possible without the hot early start they had. The importance of starting fast early.

They did not play hard and have now let the other team in the game. Terrible substitution patterns by Spolestra in this one honestly. This one would be a terrible game to lose at home against this team at this time. Just losing on effort.

Some big plays by Bosh and Wade there.....just need to play good defense here down the stretch and make some free throws.

Good win for the Heat. But, didnt close this one out when they had a chance earlier. I expect that to lead to a slow start and a lot of sloppy play tomorrow night

It is worth asking what you would consider “ good substitution patterns” by Spo since you always seem to think they are terrible. You beat the same dead horse almost on a game-to-game basis. So its worth asking...

Let's see....I said it during our last game because he did wait way too long to bring Deng into the game. Also, in this one, he should have yanked Chalmers and brought Wade in a couple of minutes earlier. Also, Cole was having a good game on D and O so no reason to keep him out for so long. It seems sometimes Spolestra loses his feel for the game sometimes.

Only thing I agree with here is your point about Cole.

You have to remember that they have a game tomorrow night so I think he wanted to keep Wade & Bosh minutes down. Wade only played 30 minutes which is his lowest minutes total of the season.

As for your point about Chalmers this was by far his fewest minutes of the year which has a lot to do with his poor play. He only played 19 minutes tonight. Before tonight his lowest minutes total in a game was 24
