So lets look at the Cavs for a second.. They have 4 players who get hurt fairly often and dont finish a season in Love, irving, Miller and Varejo. Who do you think gets hurt this year and doesnt finish the season?

Didn't look at the link but our defensive deficiencie is being exposed against bigger players.

Pat failed us by not getting a defensive C who can play solid post defense.

As for offense, hard to judge because 2 guys who can help offensively are out.

This is a make or miss lead and I know Bosh & Wade will be productive on most nights but the other guys need to make their shots.

I don't wish injury on any player either, but that doesn't mean I don't expect all 4 to miss time at some point.


As far as when, for how long....who knows?
Every team deals with them.

When will James finally suffer some type of significant injury?

I think we can be a high 40's win team.

We need to be a dominant home team and a solid road team.

Basically if we can win in the high 20's at home & be in the mid-high teens in terms of road wins, we will be a 46-49 win team.

So let's say we go 28-13 at home & 18-23 on the road, that gets us to 46 wins which is more than likely a top 5 seed in the east.

Just look back at our home & road splits from our last year without Lebron when we won 47 games.

We weren't a dominant home team but we were a great road team. Went 24-17 at home & 23-18 on the road

Also you guys can't get too discourage by our 3-2 start. There's a lot of bad teams in this league and our schedule been pretty tough in the first 5 games and it didn't help that in our 2 losses we played teams who strengths were our one glaring weakness which is no big men/post defender. 4 of the 5 teams we played so far made the playoffs last year.

We will be just fine if we remain healthy. I think we are a 46-49 win team if we stay healthy.

Like for example I think we match-up with Dallas & GSW for example much better than we did with Houston. Both teams are strictly jumpshooting teams for the most part so we don't have to worry about doubling a post player or getting destroyed down low. GSW would present more of a challenge because Curry & Klay are better than any perimeter player on Dallas team but those teams play to our strength more than our weakness.

Minnesota's Ricky Rubio out indefinitely with a significant sprain of his left ankle. So he will miss his lone visit of the season to Miami.

We need to win this game. They are 2nd night of back to back and are deflated from OT loss and loss of Rubio. They also canceled their shoot around.
