Just my opinion but JJ has been the least impressive among the guys that have been put against LaMarcus

-5 into the half for Heat. Glad the margin isn't bigger

Spurs could be on verge of putting this one away soon if the Heat don't challenge more of there attempts

Need whiteside back soon or this home stand will be a disaster.

As our broadcasters said, Spurs are without key guys as well so we can't really use Hassan's absence as an excuse. We certainly need him back but lets not make it an excuse.

Yes, we have given way too many easy shots tonight but thats due to a lack of effort for the most part and just not enough adjusting to the situation.

I wish JJ would play like a PF/Big man that he is more often than he tries to play like a perimeter player/ball-handler. And wish J-Rich had other habits beyond committing terrible fouls

Its nights like tonight why I hate J-Rich as a starter - commits terrible fouls and can't seem to do much else if the offense is not there for him.

I don't think the quality of our shots were the best today - carrying over from the 3 attack from last game. They need to regroup after tonight - Hassan in there or not next game, they need to go to a more inside-out approach

Heat making a run but looking like one of those that will fall short when its said and done given the early deficit

Been extremely disappointed with Miami defense in the first 4 games. I guess not having saw rim protector in 3 of the 4 games is a major reason. Teams are not scared to go into the paint when Hassan is on the bench in a suit.

2-1 halfway through the 6 game home stand. Final 3 games are against Boston, Minnesota, and Chicago. The Bulls should be an obvious win. I won't be too mad if we split the games against Boston and Minny to go 4-2. Hard to complain about a 4-2 home stand especially when one of your top 2 players missed 3 games of the home stand.
Just can't finish 3-3 IMO

I am by no means saying it would have helped with the aforementioned rim protection or significantly increased our chances of winning the game - but I am a little disappointed we didn't see Mickey for a single minute last night after a respectable performance in his start.

Yes, Lamarcus was unguardable but I think the Heat could've take some chances with Mickey's size to contest Lamarcus better. My issue with the guys we put on him last night was that few did very much to even try to make things tough on him

Anyhow, all indications are that Hassan will be ready next game - so lets hope for the best.

Frustrating

Indeed. But with it came encouraging news that he is close to a return. If we can clean up some things up, I think the Heat will do a better job of staying afloat this season compared to last when we lost key guys for any period of time
