Cole and Whiteside are both at fault there.

Another game we win if Beasleys wearing a Heat uniform.
Justin Hamilton really needs/deserves a roster spot at this point of the season?

Yeah this one I'll put on the players for sure.

Not the coaches fault when you have a 10 point lead with 8 or 9 minutes to go and you blow it.

CB play without Wade in the lineup has been a major disappointment for the most part outside of a good game here and now

Bosh just isnt a #1 option. This team needs a PG desperately. We just arent good.

Bosh has been very disappointing. However, did we wait too long to get Hassan back in the game?

At some point the player gotta take some responsibility and stop using the coach as a cop out

Good to see you guys finally put the blame where it belongs - on the players - but obviously fans realizing this and being able to point it out is not necessarily the solution. That being said, in the latest Ask Ira, he seems to finally be willing to put it on the players as well - dobutful the other joker beat writers we have are ready to do the same.

As for Chris Bosh, i think it is unfair to criticize him for his role as #1 option or failure to be consistently that . The last few seasons, we had a clear #1 option, but options #2 and #3 were also clear. Now, CB is option #1 and there is no clarity as to who is the backup option when he cant provide whats necessary for a reason or another. McRob has been virtually injured all season long, Deng is in and out of the lineup due to nagging injuries, Diva sits out games when he wants and as long as he wants.

Its CB and a wildcard of who is next behind him. As Ira pointed out, with UD not getting the PT he used to, his voice even as captain inst heard from as much anymore. If guys like Tyler Johnson and Napier are getting the PT their are getting, guys like Williams, Granger and UD should be getting consistent minutes as well.

As for waiting too long to bring Hassan in too late - There is really no such thing - its easy to question such a thing in a loss.

The heat need to use their injured player exception real soon, like before the next game - more Tyler Johnson and Napier in the rotation just wont get us anywhere. I am sure we can get a quality player with that exception. Do it already.

I agree it's hard to blame Bosh because he relies on the PG's to get him the ball in a decent position in a timely manner which. seldom happens.

Reality check time - For this season, reality is we are a 7-8th seed team at best, maybe get get to 6th if we can put some sort of run together. Most often, teams that hang around those positions in the standings, and finish in those positions usually have had roller coaster seasons as we have had.

Point is, its time to accept that we are no better than a 6th-7th seed team as best. So, win or lose, make nothing of it. We are where we should be - where we deserve to be and shouldve expected to be in after the roster changes.

Most of us in here have followed this team from the beginning, if not for a very long time - we all know what it took to build this team into the champions we saw in recent years. We all remember having to run into MJ and the bulls and falling short of ECF and finals - we remember the heart-breakers against the Knicks who ruined my childhood so many times. The previous championships wouldve never come about without the latter dark days. So lets just sit back and make the best of this and know our team has great resources at their disposal to turn this around very soon.

Remember, this franchise was established in 1988 , it took 18 years to get our first championship, and now have multiple - A few other franchises have been around longer or the same amount of time and have not even sniffed a finals appearance, or even playoff apperances.

And as I always say, dont forget this is just a sport - there are bigger more important things in life

Charlotte beats Washington. Now we are a full game behind the 7th seed in the East and we don't have the tiebreaker. Time to get on a roll even a mini roll.

Let's just hope we can beat NY.
Beating Spurs or Cavs is highly unlikely.

All Star break coming at perfect time for us. Time to rest a heal.
Hopefully Wade keeps his ass in Miami vs partying for a week (also highly unlikely) and rehabs.

Is leadership an issue with the Miami Heat? - Sun Sentinel

We do lack leadership. With Bosh struggling, he has lost some credibility. UD doesnt have as big a voice anymore with his limited playing time - and Diva Wade is just a pussy who has zero leadership skills at this point in his career.

Hassan Whiteside doubtful tonight with sprained ankle.
Spoelstra said Whiteside sprained his ankle in the first half against the Wolves. Finished with 24-20. Swelled after game.

Looks like the Heat will be out of a playoff spot tonight barring a win against San Antonio. Brooklyn is playing well now and we are headed south. We will likely be two games out of the 8th seed by the time the All Star Break rolls around. Great coaching eh!!!

You blame coaching for everything. Sometime the players are to blame. This isn't a good roster and you know that
