1st round is this Thursday. Post your wish list or mock drafts.

Here's what I'm thinking for the Dolphins draft. I think the Dolphins should pull the trigger for Brandon Albert with their 2nd 2nd round pick. If Lane Johnson or Johnathan Cooper don't fall to the 12th pick the dolphins trade down to the early 20's and draft Eifert. Doing that they recoup the 2nd round pick they just traded away for Albert and draft Cyprien with their first 2nd round pick if he's there. With their second 2nd round pick they take Damontre Moore, Sam Montgomery, or David Amerson.

1st Round: Eifert
2nd Round: Cyprien
2nd Round: Justin Pugh
3rd Round: Sam Montgomery
3rd Round: Darius Slay
4th Round: Ty Powell
5th Round: Lattimore

If Zaviar Godden is there in the 4th I'd take him over Powell

no way do they give Albert the 6 yr 50 mill he wants.. they could have kept Long for less. We have enough picks we can either move up some or just hope one falls to us, or even use the pair of 2nd rounders on a LT and hope one pans out.... I know we signed Keller but TE still feels like a position of need to me...

I agree 6yr 50mil is way too much which is why we try to get him for our price 5 year/28-30mil

I would still like us to draft a Coner with that 1st pick. Dee Milliner is dropping in the draft boards. Aide he might not be ready for the start of training camp. I think if he falls to is at # 12 we take him!

Players I would take at 12:

1.) Lane Johnson (probably not gonna happen)
2.) Jonathan Cooper
3.) Dee Milliner
4.) move down a few picks and take Eifert

I actually think Miami will try to move up.. we have plenty of picks to trade and we have some needs that needs to be covered right now.

Sup boys, glad to see some of the guys from CBS sports on here.

As for the draft today, I think we may stick at our current position and draft Tyler Eifert.

I see a lot of people are high on Cyprien for the Dolphins, but having seen him play personally in school - Some things concern me about him... Is he the right fit for our defense? Also, he has been criticized for being a guy who leads with his head a lot when tackling which is obviously a no-no in the NFL...this is something i have heard that is making some teams scratch their heads about Cyprien... they dont know if he will be able to be the same player without that same intensity that might be taken away from him... also, lets remember, he played for FIU who just finished their last season in the lowly Sun Belt Conference - There isnt any real competition there. Either way, it shall be fun to see what happens tonight. All predictions and mock drafts go out the window as soon as the draft officially starts tonight... the real deal has arrived

So am hearing that the dolphins are trying to trade Devon Bess to Cleveland for extra draft picks. I think they really trying to get Albert without losing to much

Agreed on the thinking Triplexxx, from what I am reading on twitter - The fins seem to be working on a trade to move down, get extra picks so they dont lose too much when trading for Albert... Lets see how things play out.

Men I hope Dion Jordan was the right pick. No one expected the dolphins to draft him after moving to the #3 spot. Still need a LT and Coner. We'll see what we do tomorrow.

I wasnt overly impressed with the pick... He easily could have been there when we picked at 12. They should have gone Lane Johnson when they moved up, but if Dion is as good as they think he is, then our pass rush should be pretty scary. Still dont want to see us go after Albert. not for the $$ he wants..

There was absolutely no way Jordan would have fell to #12. I'm just glad we were proactive in getting a player that the FO wanted and not just stay at #12 where all the elite players were gone

Obviously, drafting an OT would have been helpful, maybe even more helpful than drafting Jordan given our needs... That being said, drafting Jordan makes our defense that much more stronger - And, as some analyst have said, Miami basically robbed the Raiders in this trade and that will show... Miami did not have to give up very much to move up and get this guy... Some have said the Raiders could have asked the Fins to throw in Davone Bess in the deal given that it could have been a guy they could use and a guy that the team is shopping around. The fins came out on top in this trade and selection.

I agree with poalo its not like we gave up that much.. we get a good player which am hearing some experts comparing him to Jason Taylor... so yes we didn't fill in a need but its hard to pass on that. We got plenty of draft picks.. the night is young we just getting started with making the dolphins back to a playoff team.
