FIRST PITCH: The Mets were off on Monday, but bussed down to Philly in the afternoon in advance of Tuesday’s 7:05 p.m. series opener against the Phillies.

That game will be played directly across Pattison Avenue and Game 6 of the Flyers-Rangers series.

Tuesday’s game is the first of a nine-game road-trip that will also take the Mets to Colorado and Miami.

Hopefully they get at least 1 game in......but it's not like they're the mariners where we'd have to fly clear across country on an off day or take a detour up there during a west coast trip for a make up game.

...followed by a Ryan single off the RF wall...played nicely by Grandy out there to keep it to just a single.
Niese calms down and gets Ruiz to ground out to Murphy.
