Enjoy.

Ignore the score and sell-out crowd.

I was there!

Pac-10 Football!
Pac-10 Football!

Almost trampled to death that night due to the limited entrances due to the tree huggers. My Cal buddy just shrugged his shoulders and said: "Well, it is Berkeley!" lol.

Also, the day that App. State beat Michigan!

Great CFB Day!

Roll on you Bears!

You mean to tell the PAC 12 were willing to throw away millions just because of a few twitter posts
:laugh3:

But it isn’t a few twitter posts, it has a following more than a few tweets. Had the Unity movement happened week of the first games then sure, the universities could’ve given them their walking papers and moved on. Since 99% of fans will always root for the name on the front of the jersey and not the back.

But a month out no, that is too much for AD’s to have to handle to the media and meeting with their presidents and chancellors who don’t care about sports but like these kind of movements.

So this movement and followers will just disappear like that? So what's the plan once these players start this back up next season?

That is the million dollar question and no one involved with cancelling the season has laid out any plan. My personal belief is they are going to bury their heads in the sand and hope it goes away. If they switch it the spring it takes away the “strike” aspect as like 5 of the guys in the Pac 12 can choose to sit out pre NFL draft.

But the motto on the west coast has been for decades is to kick the can down the road.

The B1G and Pac12 combined have 3 National Championships, that is it.

USC 2004 (actually that was canceled by NCAA)
Ohio State in 2002 and 2014

Both leagues are irrelevant.

Miami won that 2002 Championship game.

Not to mention said lawyers would have to prove to the jury that the player caught Covid playing football and not from banging Susie Rottencrotch.

Exactly. If the players follow the established protocols, the chances of a player getting it are small and the chances of them causing an outbreak within their team are smaller.

If a player does catch it, it would almost certainly be because he didn't follow protocols which takes the school/conference off the hook.

I think they'll do pretty good. There will be some who get infected/quarantined, etc. but if stick to the program and the season continues.

It's being shown that creating bubbles works.

People were talking about how the NBA was going to fail because they put their bubble right in the middle of a hotspot.

They haven't had a player test positive in the bubble. One player (Lou Williams) broke protocol and got himself a 10 day quarantine even though he tested negative. Players who have left for approved personal reasons are quarantined for 4 days and tested each day.

MLB is creating sort of "traveling bubbles". 2 teams, the Marlins and the Cardinals have had outbreaks. In both cases it was because multiple team personnel broke protocols. No other teams have had issues.

It's not a sport, so I don't follow it very closely, but MLS doesn't appear to have had any issues with their bubble either.

Point is, if players follow protocols and there are guidelines in place for what to do if anyone breaks protocol, it seems unlikely that they will have issues.

USC did not appear in the BCS Championship Game. Sorry, doesn't count. Also, I think that media fan poll title was taken away due to NCAA penalties.

Sorry, the NCAA recognizes the AP Poll. It counts.

Outside of maybe Oregon and USC, no one gives a crap about the Pac12 anyways. Sad thing is they have talent but no fans in the stands. Now that the country is "smaller" due to technology, more of that West Coast talent is leaving and the league is declining. They are closer on a competitive level to the American League than the other power conferences.

B1G is a one team league with Ohio State so not much to speak from there as well. Just let Ohio State play Big12, SEC, and ACC schools as a represented B1G Champion. We know they will win the B1G anyways.

Big12 has Texas and Oklahoma State and ACC has Miam, FSU, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, etc.

Pac12 has NO fans except Oregon, USC, and kind of Washington. You can get more people out to a BLM rally than most Pac12 football games.

well lets look at that
Ohio state is all the Big 10 has and Pac is maybe Oregon and USC. and you compare it to schools like Georgia Tech and Texas and Miami.

so in the playoff era records show Wisconsin has 63-19 record. Penn State has 56-23 Michigan 52-25 and Michigan State is 50-25.

while Miami is 46-32. Georgia Tech 38-37 Virginia Tech 47-32 and Florida State 51-27

Texas 41-36 and OK state 52-26 and while you didnt ask Baylor is 47-31 and TCU 52-26

over in the Pac Oregon is 52-26 and USC 51-28. Utah is 55-15 Washington is 55-26 and Stanford 52-27.

and im sure you would argue the SEC has Alabama Auburn LSU A&M Georgia and Florida
and im not going to argue Alabama Georgia or LSU
but
Florida has been 51-25 A&M 48-30 Auburn 50-29

and yes i know not all schedules are equal and all that but perception is just opinion and yours is wrong
