McGregor today tweeted that he is retiring.
Anyone actually believe this? There is no way in hell he is retiring.

He didn't want to fly to Vegas next week to make a commercial promoting UFC 200 and Dana did what he did with Nick Diaz when he didn't show up to help promote his GSP fight. He took Mac off the card, Mac got pissed and is being a diva.
PossiblyComplete cover up. The UFC is selling Wolf Tickets.
I think its just a ploy on his part to get a bigger chunk of "cheese" from the UFC. He's not stupid. He'll wait it out a bit until he gets something he likes from UFC and he'll be back.
Conor McGregor announced his UFC retirement, there was a buzz on social media and on the internet that McGregor could be on his way to WWE since he recently started following Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon on Twitter. Some reports even claimed McGregor started following the WWE stars after his retirement Tweet.
To clarify, McGregor began following the WWE stars during WrestleMania 32 week, so while McGregor’s WWE status is unknown at the time, and he very well might have an interest in the company and/or pro wrestling, he did not begin following the WWE stars today or within the past day or two.
Just playing the conspiracy card and
Came across this tidbit a hour ago
This is where I'm leaning. Dana told him to do the promos, McGregor said no (he's probably still salty about the blowback he got from doing Conan & the like prior to 196 so he's "focusing" on his training now), so Dana gave him an ultimatum and Conor took his ball and went home.He didn't want to fly to Vegas next week to make a commercial promoting UFC 200 and Dana did what he did with Nick Diaz when he didn't show up to help promote his GSP fight.
