The inability to take walks is a huge problem for this offense. Even without Cano, there’s too much talent for this offense to be looking like that. If there’s one thing I remember about Dipotos first few weeks, it was “Control the Zone”. Either the personnel isn’t right or they are just ignoring that now.

I watched the entire game... Another great win by the M's in another 1 run game... 17-9 in one run games and 6-0 in extra inning games? Dang... These are the kind of games we weren't winning last year...

The walks are nipping Dias in the butt... If he doesn't get control of his pitches, these walks are going to continue to haunt him and the team... He's now at a 3.03 era for the year... Normally, if your closer is over a 3.00 era, it's not going to go well.... At least we have a few guys we can lean on if Diaz can't right the ship any time soon...

Same thing happened last year with Diaz. He started hotter than hell and then fell apart. Between him and Cishek (sp) over time it was a disaster. Glad we have Colome in the mix now cuz we're def gonna need him

Like the lineup for tonight. A little edge over Archer on the pitching side with Gonzo. Hope this one has a little more spread on the score. Getting a bit tired of the 1 run wins and the extra frames late into the night. Let's give the Pen a bit of a break tonight and show the Rays some of that down home Seattle offense.
