Since we've been kind of slow in posting the series threads, figured I'd throw one up right now while I'm not busy and have it on my mind.

Probable pitchers:

Friday, June 6:
Chris Young (5-2, 3.27 ERA 63.1 IP) vs. Erik Bedard (2-4, 4.27 ERA 46.1 IP)

Saturday, June 7:
Roenis Elias (4-4, 3.53 ERA 74.0 IP) vs. Alex Cobb (1-3, 3.19 ERA 36.2 IP)

Sunday, June 8:
Felix Hernandez (8-1, 2.57 ERA 91.0 IP) vs. Chris Archer (3-3, 3.73 ERA 70 IP)

Monday, June 9:
Mariners #5 starter (Nobody with an ERA under 6) vs. David Price (4-5, 4.03 ERA 84.1 IP)

Ah we get our buddy Bedard tonight. I was looking through his game logs and the innings pitched seems about par for his career. Nothing over 6 innings.

2, 3.2, 4, 5, 6, 6, 5.2, 5.1, 4 and 4.2

So glad Adam Jones and Chris Tillman were traded for this guy.

If Walker isn't ready to start that June 9th game, then it is time to give Jordan Pries or Matt Palmer a shot. I'm really fucking tired of the Rameriz/Maurer tandem.

You're right, but I think that has more to do with the fact that he was on the Astros. We can beat Bedard, we just can't beat the Astros

I have Monday off. Do you think they'll let me pitch? With Erasmo/Maurer vs Price our chances are pretty slim anyway and I could use the single game minimum paycheck.

I tape it so I am only in the 5th, but Bedard is blowing it by every one at 87-89.

And for those Cano gold glove believers, please watch him before spouting out about his defense. If it ain't hit right at him, he doesn't get to it. Franklin is twice the defender he is. That run was on him that guy through for a double.

Just when they get you a little excited by getting into 2nd place only 5.5 games out, they decide not to show up after a day off. Way to get your team up for the f'ing game Lloyd. And when does that speech to Franklin about not being a country club gets directed towards Miller who is so f'ing lost it isn't funny. Bring up the kid from Tacoma who is hitting .350 at SS. Even if he hits .200 below that his defense will still make him a better option.

let's sit Zunino some more. Buck has one good game and now he needs to play more? And bat cleanup?

There was some logic behind it: Apparently we have a lot of day games coming up in which they plan to play Zunino, and Buck WAS 4 for 7 against Bedard... and really, would it have mattered the way it went down?

They just couldn't put the fucking bat on the ball today.

5 hits and 14 ks. You can only go so far with this lineup.

pretty bad offensive performance today. If im being honest im not surprised it happened against Bedard. Bedard slaughtering the Mariners is just too fitting.

Plus the M's were due to get shutout.

With that AA lineup? I guess I should be surprised we aren't shutout more often.

Why is it that we play so well against the Tigers, Yankees, then Braves, to get slaughtered by the Rays? Seriously? Why do we play so poorly against bad teams?

Man hopefully Saunders isnt out for extended time. Seems like he is finally getting comfortable up there. Not to mention is one of our 3 somewhat consistent hitters.
