I know its early and its a new team etc etc, plus he was out a bunch of games. That being said I'm not overly impressed by ANY aspect of his game so far. Seguins lighting it up in Dallas plus hes like 7 years younger.

As of now, trade benefits the Stars. Bruins got good pieces but Seguin obviously has something to prove this year. I thought the Bruins should've given him another chance, but it's still early, maybe this trade could benefit the Bruins in the long run.

You're right about Eriksson not holding his own tho. Reilly Smith was a good pickup. If Eriksson played to expectations it would be an even trade.

Erickssons actually a +3, not sure where you got a -9?. nobody on the Bruins plays at that kind of minus player, not this year anyway.

I'm just not impressed so far, lots of season left and the post seasons most important obviously
