Well I heard some pretty staggering stat today, sorry I can't remember it exactly but it said the team that wins game 1 in the series goes on to win the series most of the time. It was an impressive number but I don't want to make shit up, so I'll leave it at that.
We over at the SeeBS Lakers team boards had a game thread up for every game. I would love to see the multitude of posters from those boards join us here. We have a few in the way of bluepigpen, cl67, retroram, trojanfan12, silas, truelakersfan and others that I've may have left off, so please forgive me if I left you out who are already on here however a few of these dudes weren't regulars on the game threads.
In these game threads of course we posted during the game, it would be great if some of you guys here would enjoy doing that for the series with the Spurs, hornstampe of course you can join us. Furthermore our threads over there were always stared with a prediction of the impending game. We had a year long contest where we predicted the score to every game. We would split the season and in two halves (41 games / 41 games). Out of 20 or so, I was fortunate enough to win the first half of the contest and I was to go into the second half. We all knew that Sman was going to take the second half and maybe he shows up and makes a prediction and maybe I'll find it and re-post his prediction here. Either way the two winners of the first and second halves of the season would go into a playoff to see who would be the Prediction King for the 2012-2013 season. So I will start off with that...

We had a point system and next season I will share the rules so we can all enjoy the little Point prediction contest here if y'all want to participate.
Anyway for now we can just enjoy the game together here and discuss the game as it happens.
