The Lakers would beat that team 7 times out of 10.
So you say. Then again you also said Moses Malone was better than Shaq. I think you have been watching too much of the Hardwood Classics. :laugh3:

That's nonsense. Why would you force Lebron to play PG with Jordan on the floor instead of someone like Oscar or Stockton? With MJ, Lebron becomes very dispensable. I'd play MJ 42 mins and let Lebron play the last two minutes of each quarter.

Also, why is no one giving any respect to The Mailman? He'd mop the floor with Pippen.

He can play PG, he guarded Parker in Game 7. Magic was too big for MJ, plus Kobe vs MJ is a great matchup.

And yeah you could put Malone in there instead of Duncan for sure.

Lakers would have advantage in post, but will MJ and Lebron they are unstoppable, especially together. In 7, they win 4-2.

I must not be. :laugh3: I saw the Big Fundamental and thought you were talking about Shaq. Still I think Duncan is better than Moses.

That's because you don't know anything about Moses Malone other than his height. You think all of today's players are better than the past players so you're not really qualified to debate this.

Thats not actually true. I know for a fact I'm more qualified than you are to debate this point. I just think Duncan was better than Moses.

Talking about great players on bad teams carrying them.....

Moses Malone carried a below .500 Houston team to the NBA Finals and had them 2-2 with the Celtics after four games.

The Bird-McHale etc 80s Celtics.

The other 4 starters were: Billy Paultz, Robert Reid, Mike Dunleavy and Tom Henderson.

Yeah....

Yeah....

I have a friend who played several seasons in the NBA who told me a funny story about something Billy Paultz did during a game in the last 70's one night at the Alamodome.

Yeah, but, but, but... that's all beside the point, Rob. montsho happens to know otherwise and he's more qualified than you and I put together to debate the point too!!!

It would of been a handful and a tough matchup for Timmy. Malone is probably too athletic for Duncan, he was a pure scorer and could rebound with the best of them. He won 3 MVP in 6 years and back-to-back in 82-83. He played like a SF, but could rebound like a PF/C.

I would rather have Malone guarding him.

I love everything about Timmy. But if I'm building a team and can pick between those two, it's Moses without a second's hesitation and so would Greg Poppovich.

That would be one helluva story indeed....

considering the Alamadome didn't open until 1993.

That was pretty slick how you mentioned your one lone friend who played a few seasons in the NBA. I was going to shut you down with my list of NBA connections and experience but who really cares. You have to take my word for it that I know way more than you do. If you decide not to take that advice then thats cool with me.
