5-13 is ridiculous, one good swing week and someone jumps up like 6 spots.

I was on the ropes 1-10-3 on Thursday and salvaged a 5-7-2 week. Still need some of these guys to perform but more importantly to stop getting injured. I had like 5-6 guys on DTD/IR/IR+ the last 10 days, which sucks.

Key players too, like Duchene and Hossa too, not goons like Carcillo (who racked up 17 PIMs for me last night - thank you Car Bomb).

I am willing to part with Jeff Carter for a Starting Goalie. One that is not horrible. One that can get me game starts.

I would Howdy, but I'm struggling to get the 3 starts myself. The NHL goalie situation seems awful strange this season with injuries, guys projected as starters who aren't anymore, etc. I sure could use Carter but I wouldn't meet my three starts with what I would have left, I'm barely making it now.

I thought Reimer would sink me right off the bat last night giving up 6 goals in a 6-0 shelling by the freaking Blue Jackets of all teams, and then Lonnie D (my opponent) does me one better tonight by getting Hiller lit up for 5 against Dallas.

Crawford was my saving grace getting me the win and improving the overall numbers but all I have to say is....THANKS JONAS!

Definitely helps that it's the Ducks too, some of their stupid fans were rolling in their jizz after the hot start. Ducks are coming back to earth and are going to be in a dogfight like everyone else real quick here.

can't say I'm too thrilled with the trade Commish. Howdy says he's willing to give up Carter for a starting goalie? Cam Talbot is not a starting goalie. And unless Brad Richards is enough incentive to get Carter I'm just not sure about the trade.

I'm surprised Talbot had that many games, but if Talbot wasn't going to be enough, Howdy would/could have declined the trade. It's really a Carter vs. Richards trade, and Howdy still needs a goalie.

I've been getting the same thing with Yahoo, when I click on my bookmark to get to the FHL page, it's a weird combination of the old drop down menu options and the new click and swap.

Just started this week, so I don't know if it's a Yahoo glitch or what.

I dint know that you were having issues. I just noticed that you had an empty Center slot and a lot of your players that had games were on the bench.

I noticed an issue too, so I use my iPhone to update everything. I do check every morning to make sure that the lineup was saved. If not I update it.

I'm getting killed this season. Looks like draft on the fly method blew up in my face finally, had some success the last two years but ain't looking too good so far.

Looks like I revert back to my month long FHL draft prep next season - draft list, rankings, strategy, etc.

Looks like I revert back to my month long FHL draft prep next season - draft list, rankings, strategy, etc.

I wouldn't mind getting those of us local to the area together for a "draft party" at a centralized establishment where we can put faces to screennames and drink a few adult beverages and a little trash talking. Maybe one of these years?

I'd be in for sure. Met a lot of nice people off the ESPN board over the last 13-14 years, never hurts to put a name to a face.
