Kings Board FHL 2013-14

I'll start this as the official thread for the FHL

A reminder that we draft Wednesday, September 25 @ 10:00 EDT...7 PDT.

I sent out an invite to one of my regular fantasy friends, who also happens to be a Kings fan, to fill the 14th and final spot.

I will be there, I just hope I can concentrate and get it done. Four kids, 7pm is right after dinner time and bed time is 8:30 with HW and baths to do too. I'll probably draft as long as I can and then set it to auto near the end.

Going in blind again this season, let's see what I get. Hopefully a better draft position than years past to start.

same here puck. i only have one kid but shes turning two and has completely taken on hurricane form. i imagine the first few rounds ill be around then auto-draft haha

I was pretty lucky, I didn't get the terrible 2s with Little Puck (the oldest now - she will be 8 in 2 weeks. I remember when we all were discussing me having a kid on the old board when it was happening. Time flies) but did with Pucky Jr. I and a little bit with Little Puck II. She is now 3.5 and mellowing out, and Jr. turns 3 next month as well and the tantrums and stuff have calmed down a lot but holy hell when their stages overlapped it was a complete nightmare.

Now we wait and see with Jr. II and see how it goes, but I've noticed the oldest girl and boy are very similar in temperament and demeanor (except he threw the tantrums, she never did) and I'm seeing similarities in the youngest girl and boy as well. If that's the case we will have a little stretch of a ride there in a few years but at least it'll only be one this time.

Planning on any more?

For sure for me. Tuesday night works best because the girls aren't home, I believe we did that the last few years but Wed night the chaos starts since they come home for 2 nights and this is our weekend too so 5 total nights. Lot to squeeze in tonight and the draft is smack dab in the middle.

But Ms. Puck should be able to hold the fort for a bit, I did last night for her - she had a hair appt at 5 and met up with some mutual friends for drinks at the Orange Circle. I only had the boys and had it covered, but she got home about 1am and was hating life this morning.

I absolutely loved being the sober one waking up this morning haha.

Yep, I'll be there tonight as well and like Puck, going in completely and utterly unprepared. I will draft by the seat of my pants and hope sh!t works out. I already prepared the wife for tonight, I have to take my 9 year old to Friday Night Light (flag football) practice at 5:30 but she is coming to relieve me at 6:30 so I can make it in time. It's on b!tches, time to fling some poo!!!!!

though I don't have any kids I'm pretty sure I was still in high school when I started posting. I've now graduated with a bachelor's degree and have started my career in broadcasting :O

and i missed the draft again.. my life clears up all day around the draft. 10 mins prior my kid loses her mind and starts going crazy and i deal with for 30 mins after that i figured what was the point.
