Wow.... Are they trying to lose on purpose? Who loses a 12-2 lead in the later innings? Is this the major leagues or am I watching little league ball.

You apparently haven't watched much of the Mariners or the Padres lately. Mariners lineup can score a ton on most nights and the Padres are fucking awful!

Mariners biggest comeback in franchise history is eight runs. They've come from 10 down tonight and lead 13-12. If hold on, will be record.

Was going to say this was the third 6 run inning for the Mariners in 9 days but now it is a 7 run inning. 14-12

This is unreal. The Padres entire team should be demoted to triple A after this game. Manager fired. Fans given their money back. Seriously.....

Yep I think the Padres got a mercy game last night and I also said earlier in the week the M's had another cupcake. Little did I know the Padres are a whole fucking box of "Little Debbies".

Bronx cheer from Padres fans as SD finally gets third out of 7th after Mariners score nine runs that inning and 14 in 2 inn. for 16-12 lead.

So...9 2-out runs for the Mariners. Now up 16-12

10 different Mariners hitters combined for 13 hits, 2 walks, a hit batter and 14 RBIs in last 2 innings.

So much for the lock there @Nightcrawler

That's two nice catches by Nelson Cruz in right field in this defensive battle.

Im guessing that was a joke in more ways than 1?

At least we've been keeping up with the Mariners while we've been playing tougher teams.

We have the better pitching staff but the M's can score a lot, any given night. Their 3-6 of Cano, Cruz, Seager and Lee are really good hitters

Wish we had a hitter in the 3 spot that was even serviceable at this point

Um, I think he might have been looking at the wrong box score. Ross gave up 2 runs in just 2/3 of an inning and took the loss. We need that kind of performance like we need a hole in the head. He'd be an upgrade over Claudio or Jackson, but that's not saying much.

Luke Jackson needs a chance to actually pitch. He has 12 innings career. He throws upper 90s with good secondary stuff. If they aren't gonna use him let him get some work facing hitters more than once a month.

He needed more time in RR anyway. I didnt think the SSS as a reliever was enough to bring him up and have him wasting away in the BP for weeks anyway, he needs to pitch more. Thus is the reason I think this team still needs to be looking for RP and not Robbie Ross Jr. types of guys
