Wild had 8 shots combined in the first and third.

This series won't be long.

The first period was not a concern..... Winnipeg OWNS the first period against everyone. The Wild did what they needed to do, to hang on and get the Jets out of their game. They didn't allow any inside chances, and did a good job of keeping things outside.




Where the Wild were exposed, was the missing of Suter and his minutes. 1) They won't be able to minimize Dumba's mistakes. It was gonna be a problem in winning the series.... now it's going to be an issue just trying to win a game. 2) The inability to clear the zone. There was that stretch of nearly 6 minutes in the 3rd, where the Jets were on offense....


Unless Dubs can give up a goal or less.... (we all know that he can), I still stand by NO chance.

They didn't allow a goal, soooo... It's where Winnipeg has done the most advantage all year, and the Wild did a pretty good job of withstanding that challenge, on the road.
