That particular inning looked so promising,and ended up not getting nothing. After that inning I was hating the jerseys,but when we started kicking ass,started to like them again lol.

Years back, somebody did some research and learned that males, under 25, (or the group that buys this stuff) were inclined to prefer black ... evidenced by the Oakland Raiders colors.
The difference is you can't put a black dress on Barbie and get the same result..
But new and radical jerseys are about marketing and product sales. If you don't change things, you don't ever sell any new stuff.
You hit that right on the head John. From a marketing stand point thats exactly why they do it. Same reason why they change hats every now and then. But I like there Red ones much better,and thats what they wore today.
There's an outfit that MLB contracts to supply all the spring jerseys and caps. That isn't done on the fly by a couple of college interns in the back room. They still have the St Patrick shirts to get out and they may do a pink one, who knows.
