So I've got Jeremy Hill, lynch, R. Mathews, and Hillman.

Another guy in my league has G. Bernard and has tried to get Hill from me before. He outbid me for Fred Jackson today. I was wondering if you'd rather have Hill or Jackson in my situation. I'm sure I could entice him since Gio has been out for a couple weeks and looks questionable so far.

I'm starting Jackson this week.

I don't have a choice though. I've otherwise got Hillman/Ball at the Flex, and I sure as shit aint starting Ball.

Rest of season. I'm good this week. The guy I'm considering offering the trade to could really use Hill this week, because he has Gio who's looking iffy to play this week. I'm wondering if Jackson strengthens my RB situation going forward. I have Lynch, Mathews, and Hillman to go along with Hill right now.

I'd think Fjax is probably the better choice for ROS, but you still might be taking a chance. Neither one of them are playing this week, right? It's friggin' impossible to get info about Gio. I think some of the Bengals coaches formerly worked for the CIA.

Anyway...right now Fjax looks like the better bet. I think. :noidea:

Of course, this is not certain...

NFL Network's Albert Breer reports the Bengals are "not expecting" Giovani Bernard (hip) to play Week 11 against the Saints.
Breer was the one who hinted last week that Bernard may be out through Week 11, and even longer. It'll be the Jeremy Hill show in the Cincinnati backfield once again. Coming off his Week 10 dud against the Browns, Hill will be a nice bounce-back high-end RB2 with RB1 upside. Frank Gore and Carlos Hyde combined to rush for 117 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries against New Orleans last week. Barring a blowout by the Saints, Hill should see 20-plus touches.

As for Fred, he's questionable, but looks like he's gonna play. Of course, that is not certain either.

Fred is practicing and will play. But he did "tweak" his groin a little last week in-game and that can happen with groin injuries. That said, week 12 and beyond, I don't think Hill gets as much work.

The fact that it's a groin injury, which are always a bear to recover from is what's making me question offering this trade.

Hill for this week and Jackson for the season. I think being a Thursday game they will still monitor his carries another week before giving him a bigger load going forward. Dixon hasnt shown much in his absence so I think he will get the lions share of work once up to speed.

Hill will benefit this week more since Gio is likely out another week but from what I hear he should be back soon and it will be a timeshare once he's back
