UConn wants to run an uptempo offense.....
just saying.
That's the kind of team he would end up at most likely IMO.
don't do this to me dude.
UConn hasn't had any hope in football since that Fiesta Bowl.
Lane Kiffin will probably nab him.
I hope he wins the starting job at Alabama. If he does, it's because he's hit next level in his passing, because the bar is pretty high.
I mean, I have a hard time seeing him getting to be as good as Tua.
He cost you one title with some of the most abysmal QB play i've ever seen in a title game QB (maybe the worst since Florida State's backup QB back in the 98 NCG).
Bama's best pass play, hell the best pass thrown all game, was by a WR. He had WRs open for days, he just couldn't hit them.
Hurts was one half away from throwing away 2 titles.
Eh, I don't blame him for the first. We actually had the lead after he ran for a long TD on our last drive. But I can't deny that if we had better offensive production in the 2nd half, our defense wouldn't have been as tired and we might have done better. But I think we had like a 10pt lead at one time and then lost it, and he got us the lead back again etc.
But I was really expecting and hoping to see him improve last off season and it didn't really happen.
Did Stidham have any arrests? No arrests ... we pass.
If Tua is so much better, why did it take Saban so long to notice it? This race will be closer than people think.
Perhaps Hurts might fit well into Jeff Brohm's high powered offense philosophy at Purdue. Purdue's true Freshman QB and early enrollee Jack Plummer out of Arizona could possibly redshirt this season, and be developed gradually over the next couple years if Hurts goes to Purdue. Also, two current Purdue redshirt Freshmen with NFL bloodlines/genetics, Griffin Alstott and Nick Sipe will also be competing for the QB position with the Boilermakers over the next few years.
