It's been a tough week

I mentioned the problems my brother is having at a hospital in Texas. Today, at 2:00, he will be taken off the ventilator and allowed to pass. It sucks.
There are 9 of us in the biological family and he will be the first to go. Most of my siblings are flying down there to see him off. I can't go due to our moving into a new house and having to be out of the old one by Monday. The timing is terrible.
I am fortunate enough to have been with him a couple of weeks ago to watch the Nebraska game. He loved the Huskers. If we had known that it would be his last....
Anyway, if you have them, tell your brothers that you love them once in a while. Sure, you might be called a fag, get punched in the dick or get the stink eye from him, but he'll know. Life is too short. Do it today, you may not be able to do it tomorrow.
